Four people starting to air with Axiom SpaceThe group’s first running tour, and you can watch a lot of events.
Liftoff on the historic Ax-1 mission is scheduled for Wednesday (April 6) at 12:05 pm EDT (1605 GMT), according to Axiom Space. On board the SpaceX Crew Dragon and Falcon 9 rocket was former NASA pilot Michael López-Alegría and co-hosts Larry Connor, Mark Pathy and Eytan Stibbe.
Axiom will begin an announcement of prelaunch events, starting and closing at 8:40 am EDT (1240 GMT). You can catch the ad at axiomspace.com and its social media platform, on the SpaceX website, and here at Space.com, if possible.
NASA will begin its own broadcast at 10:45 am EDT (1445 GMT) on NASA Television, the NASA app, NASA social media and the company’s website. (His cover office said it “will merge with Axiom Space and SpaceX broadcast”, so the same game can be played in all three teams.)
We’ve listed some of the highlights below so you’ll know the important moments to look at during the announcement.

TBD – An event in the flight
Axiom Space can run an event in flight some time after it starts, but it doesn’t have the right time. If it runs, we’ll share it on Space.com if possible. Here is what Axiom has to say about the event:
“Waiting for the company’s timeline and base coverage, Michael López-Alegría, Axiom Space vice-president and Ax-1 commander, will participate in a flight event from the Dragon spacecraft . “
If the webcast doesn’t run, Axiom will turn to the next attack time, which is about two hours before the Dragon crashes into the ISS.
Friday, April 8
Coverage of these events will be available at Axiom Space, NASA and on Space.com if possible. Everything is relevant and subject to change, depending on the nature of the missionary journey.
- 1 am EDT (0500 GMT) – Webcast resumes and coverage begins.
- 2:45 am EDT (0745 GMT) – Paʻa.
- 5 am EDT (1000 GMT) – Box office opening and team arrival.
