USS The Sullivans: A WWII ship anchored in Lake Erie in Buffalo, New York, the park.

A WWII warship, on display at Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park, is crashing into Lake Erie, according to the workshop.

According to a statement from the park, “the hull suffered a serious injury” Wednesday on the USS The Sullivans.

Paul Marzello, president and CEO of the park, told CNN WKBW why the break was under investigation, and that people are trying to get in the water and with the board to see where the holes are.

According to Marzello, the ship will not be damaged even though the lake is five feet deep.

The break is on the starboard side of the ship, as is Marzello.

The USS The Sullivans is drifting in one direction after taking the water.
