It is not said when they will be seen, or when they will return as they did in “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” Lest we forget, for example, that Brent Spiner stands in the second season of “Picard” as Dr. Adam Soong, a grandfather of the famous father of eugenics and, growing up in family medicine, is the creator of Data.
“I remember watching the premiere of ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ almost 34 years ago with my father as he was yesterday. He was the flame that ignited my love for the science fiction novel, “Terry Matalas,” Picard ”Season 3 showrunner and producer, spoken in a statement.
“So it’s fitting that Jean-Luc Picard’s story ends in honor of the start, with his dear and loyal friends from the USS Enterprise. I can’t wait for the Star Trek team: Picard ‘and I can’t wait for the fans to see this ultimate, high-end, high-end, starship-bound adventure in Season 3,” Matalas said.
April 5 is a day known to “Star Trek” fans as the day the humans and Vulcans first met in the movie “Star Trek: First Contact.”
If you recall, “Star Trek: First Contact” sent the USS Enterprise-E and its crew through a physical vortex in an attempt to stop the Borg from defending the first fighter jet. the human race, and after first contact with. an alien race (the Vulcans) on April 5, 2063.
It was one of the most important moments in human history, and it changed everything. After the warp drive, a fleet of stars was built and man began to explore the galaxy. It unites us in a way that no one would have expected to realize that they are not the only ones in the world; poverty, disease and war will end in the next 50 years.
If not, of course, you’re living in the Mirror Universe, where warp drive founder Zefram Cochrane (James Cromwell) gave the visiting Vulcans two boxes before looting everyone on a foreign inspection ship.
A few more items have been released and announced for Trekkies in conjunction with the First Contact event, including a new movie theater and artwork for the upcoming spin-off show “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds “and a new copy table book that is celebrating. the original movie “Star Trek: First Contact.”
Does this publicity mean that the third and final season of “Picard” will be a major nostalgic celebration? Yes, who knows. The main film was released in Season 3 a short time ago in March, so it’s in the can, so to speak.
