Three Chinese tourists also flew to Earth late Friday to complete an 182 -day mission at China’s airport, the longest -running mission in the history of the country’s airspace. The landing will set the stage for the launch of a new company and the expansion of the Chinese airport later this year.

Launched under a parachute, the Shenzhou 13 aircraft landed in Inner Mongolia of western China at 9:56 pm EDT Friday (0156 GMT Friday), bringing home captain Zhai Zhigang. and colleagues Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu.

The Shenzhou 13 flight took about twice as long as the previous Chinese human flight. Wang, a 42 -year -old Chinese naval officer, lost China with most of his time spent in the air: 197 days before two missionaries.

“We have successfully completed the Shenzhou 13 mission,” Zhai said in an interview with Chinese state television after landing. “We’re back on Earth.”

The three sailors were reported to be in good health after landing. The astronauts thanked the Chinese government and the Chinese people for their support before international organizations helped them in sponsoring vehicles for medical examination.

Wang said of his 6 -year -old daughter: “I came back with all the stars I collected for you.”

The three planes were released in Oct. 15 on the Shenzhou 13 steamer, and locked up with the Tianhe main module of China headquarters six and a half hours later.

After six months of conducting experiments, walking, and preparing the site for future expansion, the Shenzhou 13 astronauts floated their Shenzhou 13 spacecraft and closed. Boxes with the Tianhe core module will be released on Friday. The Dongfeng landing site is located near the Jiuquan launch site, where Shenzhou 13 exploded last October. The former Shenzhou missionary, who returned to Earth last September, became the first missionary to land with astronauts at the Dongfeng base. Chinese missionaries were sent to another part of Inner Mongolia called Siziwang Banner.

During their stay at the Chinese airport, the Shenzhou 13 astronauts completed a series of experiments and made two flights.

Zhai and Wang completed the first missionary walking tour of Nov. 7. The astronauts prepared the 47-foot (14.5-meter) robotic arm of the spacecraft for service, attaching its two main components and inserting a launcher to help the arm move. to equipment around the outside of the factory.

The astronauts spoke to the Chinese public about science education and advocacy activities, and celebrated traditional events on the Chinese calendar, such as the Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival, and the Lantern Festival. Wang, who is his second missionary in the air, said astronauts enjoyed Chinese food on site, including dumplings, zongzi, mooncakes, and tangyuan.

The Chinese responded to questions from American school children on April 9 at an event hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Washington. Wang said he was waiting to return to Earth, see his daughter and run out in the evenings.

The Shenzhou 13 mission is the second group to live and work at the China airport, after 92 days of Shenzhou 12 missions last year. The Shenzhou 13 astronauts have almost doubled the endurance history of the Chinese airliner commissioned by Shenzhou 12.

The departure of the Shenzhou 13 team will leave the Chinese airport without delay until the long -awaited flight of astronauts begins in June. Shenzhou 14 will provide three new astronauts on the field for a six -month mission.

The first phase of China’s Tianhe airport was launched last April aboard a Long March 5 rocket. The Tianzhou 2 cargo ship was launched in May, followed by the launch of Shenzhou 12 in June, and the Tianzhou 3 supply chain in September.

The supply ship Tianzhou 2 was removed from the site last month and set on fire upon re -entry, as planned. China plans to start the Tianzhou 4 cargo tour in May, then Shenzhou 14 will start shipping in June.

Later this year, China plans to introduce major Wentian and Mengtian modules to complete the first combination of the central station.
