Recent research provides ‘very bitter’ evidence about the effectiveness of related education programs

‘Higher education’ teachers don’t need to rely on the quality of related education programs, because there is a lack of rigorous evaluation, experts have taught.

Findings from a recent systematic review of social studies programs suggest that there is a “significant bitterness” in higher research into the effects of such programs. The researchers looked at 20 related programs. All were developed except in the US and 11 were evaluated. Only three followed participants for a year or more and no participants were identified. many programs and evaluations have been developed and developed with young people. This study “Beacon: Healthy Relationship” was conducted by Simon Benham-Clarke, Georgina Roberts and Tamsin Newlove-Delgado from the University of Exeter and Astrid Janssens from the University of Southern Denmark and Odense University Hospital.
