On April 12 Let’s Talk Science in partnership with the Canadian Space Agency presented a virtual symposium called Let’s Talk Lunar: Exploring the Moon – People, technology and principles for a New Frontier.
The symposium is designed for students in grades 9 through 12. The keynote address was given by Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen. This was followed by presentations from four panels that participated in a panel discussion.
Panelists:
- Peter Visscher (General Manager Canadensys Aerospace Corporation): Peter will lead a presentation on the impact of robots in the air and how they can make the difference between life and death for an astronaut.
- Cam Dickinson (research scientist at MDA): Cam will explain the role of aerospace intelligence and how astronauts can use it to take care of the problem of exploration. in the air.
- Timiebi Aganaba (Assistant Professor at Arizona State University): Should a man be in the air? During his presentation, Timiebi will break down the principles of space travel and the diversity of landscapes around the world.
- Erin Richardson (Aerospace engineering student at the University of Toronto – Moderator): Erin will lead an inspiring conversation with our panelists while recording and answering questions from students.
