The James Webb Space Telescope explores the infrared Universe.
He will use four cutting tools, including a Mid-InfraRed Instrument. MIRI is one of Europe’s studies of the James Webb Space Telescope.
MIRI supports Webb’s universal scientific goals. He will explore the Universe, study the stars around us and other stars and explore the stars and galaxies in cosmic history.
The manufacturer will be kept cool by its own cryocooler. This eliminates the heat from Webb that disturbs the MIRI’s visual aids, so the critical operator can detect mid-infrared light.
Webb is a global partnership between NASA, ESA and CSA
