The countdown will end at T-minus 9.34 seconds, before the launch of the SLS core stage’s RS-25 mainstreams. The pre -configured software settings on the Ground Launch Sequencer computer verify the current count, and an engineer in the Launch Control Center is ready to send a manual cutoff command if necessary.

When the countdown is complete, the flight team will begin to pump hydrogen and water oxygen from the rocket and stop the start car.
