Go for Olympic gold at Ellis Park Swimming Pool, JHB

This is the biggest and best pool in Jozi, where gold medal swimmers have trained. Ellis Park is Olympic-sized and heated in the winter. Get together with family and friends in a fun atmosphere on the weekends, while enjoying the occasional dive. Come within a week to participate in an important Olympics, 50m long.
It is open from 07:00 to 16:00 from Monday to Friday and from 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Please note that times may vary, especially on holidays. It can sometimes be closed for repairs so check times and dates in advance so you don’t miss out!

Diving at De Jong Diving Centre, Pretoria

There is a beautiful grass area and 3m, 5m and 10m diving boards, diving lessons and lifeguards. This is the ideal place for the study of different things (on board and under water). There is also a diving club and as a spectator you can catch some amazing dives on display.

Sydenham Public Swimming Pool
Outdoor pool with two diving boards (1 and 2 meters), changing rooms and lifeguards. This is a kid-friendly area with an entirely separate splash pool, just for kids. So please bring everything for a great family gathering. Small children’s birthday parties are offered here. If you’re looking for a relaxing, social and family-friendly experience, Sydenham Lake won’t disappoint.
Entrance fee: R10 per person (subject to change) and open from 10:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday. The pool is closed on Sundays.

This is perfect for business travelers looking for a luxurious stay, just 55 steps from the Gautrain. They have live entertainment events so keep an eye out! Unfortunately, you have to stay at a hotel to swim in those beautiful blue waters but the public can enjoy the water atmosphere while soaking up the sun.
